What We Need

Many of our clients have allergies and for the health and comfort of our clients, we ask that all donations be new and unused. This includes: teddy bears, clothing, etc. If you have questions or would like further information, please contact us at 405-552-1010.

Food Kits

Organize a food drive with your church, philanthropic group, class, etc. to stock our pantry with emergency food kits. For less than $20 a kit, you can provide food to a family of four. 

  • 1 brown bag
  • 1 jar of peanut butter
  • 1 box of crackers
  • 2 cans of fruit
  • 1 package of granola bars
  • 2 cans of beans
  • 2 cans of vegetables
  • 2 cans of soup/stew
  • 1 box of rice
  • 1 box of canned tuna
  • 1 box of tuna creations
  • 1 carton of shelf stable milk or juice
  • A note of encouragement or hope

To build a kids’ snack pack, please include 3 of the following items:

  • Gogurt
  • Goldfish
  • Granola bars
  • Apple sauce squeeze packs
  • Bananas
  • Cutie/Halo oranges
  • Grapes
  • Apples
  • String cheese

Please deliver packs to Palomar at 1140 N. Hudson Avenue between 8am – 5pm, Monday-Friday, Tuesdays Until 7pm.

Cantina Items

Our clients often arrive at Palomar fresh from traumatic events.  They may not have eaten for hours, sometimes days. It is so important to have basic needs met while making important decisions and taking protective action.

We are asking you to sign up to provide a week’s worth of these items.  Your volunteer(s) will deliver the items to Palomar on Monday morning between 8am and 9am.  Your volunteer will organize the donated items in the refrigerator and cabinets with assistance from our staff.

  • Sandwich making provisions: bread, deli meats, cheese, mustard, mayo
  • Fruit (bananas, apples, oranges, Cuties/Halos)
  • String cheese
  • Yogurt
  • Veggies
  • Hummus
  • Individually wrapped healthy snacks
  • Bottled water
  • Juices
  • Milk
  • Tea

Other Items

Palomar is client-centered and believes in survivor autonomy and empowerment. Gift cards (Target, Walmart, gas cards, etc.) are a great way to make a donation that leaves room for client choice and helps us meet the needs of clients with specific concerns (such as food allergies or restrictions).
