- Call us at 405-552-1010 (Monday through Friday 8am-5pm).
- Call the 24 hour Safeline at 1-800-522-7233 to get help with safety planning, crisis intervention, emergency shelter, and advocacy.
You can also use the National Domestic Violence Hotline’s interactive guide to safety planning to develop a personalized safety plan that you can read online or print.
Stressors like financial difficulties and illness can further endanger victims stuck at home. Abusers seek power and control and will use circumstances such as a pandemic to maintain control over their victims. Reach out for support from friends and family or using one of the above options if you feel isolated. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stressed, you can also check out the NDVH’s tips for self-care for survivors. Remember that you’re not alone. We’re still here for you.
