I understand that if I am admitted to the Palomar Teen Board, I will be given a space in the program that will become unavailable to other applicants. Consequently, I intend to accept admission and participate fully in the Palomar Teen Board.
I understand that my primary responsibility is school, and that I am responsible for arranging and completing any missing or late schoolwork with each of my teachers as necessary if Teen Board activities occur during the school day.
I understand that I will be expected to be on time and attend each meeting prepared to participate.
I understand that each unexcused absence will result in a warning; three warnings will result in being asked to resign from the Teen Board.

Mission of the Palomar Family Justice Center: “Palomar provides protection, hope, and healing. We envision an Oklahoma City that is free from violence, where safety and security is felt”. How would your work on Palomar’s Teen Board help fulfill Palomar’s mission? (250-800 words)

List of Officer Positions: Please indicate interest in any of the following office positions (Elections will take place in August).

PRESIDENT: The President will take the lead on organizing teen board meetings, activities, and events. The President is held responsible for communicating with Palomar Staff, as well as Teen Board members and executive officers.
VICE PRESIDENT: The VP will serve as assistant to the president and is responsible to stand as the president upon their absence. The VP will provide administrative support to the executive board and subcommittees for the organization of meetings & events.
SECRETARY: The Secretary will take notes during each teen board meeting and upload them to a google drive within 48 hours. The Secretary will also monitor attendance and follow up with absentees. Minutes will be approved by the board at the following meeting.
FINANCE DIRECTOR: The Finance Director will take charge of setting fundraising goals for the teen board. They will need to keep track of the teen board’s goals and provide a monthly budget to keep all members informed.
MARKETING DIRECTOR: The Marketing Director will be responsible for all external communications of the teen board. The Marketing Director should maintain brand standards and work to inform the greater community about events, and fundraisers, as well as awareness initiatives.
