Hope in the Winter—Symbols of Hope 2020 Poster

Hope in the Winter was illustrated by Felicity Farley from Moore High School for the 2020 Symbols of Hope Art Contest.

“I made this creation because of my mother. She was having a really terrible time in her life and she saw the rose bush in front of my house. We all thought the bush was dead. So when she saw the rose on it, she was given hope to get through those tough times.”

The purpose of Symbols of Hope is to promote a culture of peace, inclusion, and hope through creative projects that inspire people to think, discuss solutions, and take positive action. This year, OKC high school and middle school students submitted art related to the theme THRIVE. Thank you to Cresap Family Foundation for their generous funding that makes the Symbols of Hope contest possible.
